When a reminder is due, Lumi shows a notification with the medication's name and three buttons — Taken, Snooze, and Skip. On most iPhones you press and hold (or pull down) the notification to reveal the buttons, then tap one. Your choice is recorded right away, so you don't need to unlock your phone or open the app.

Yes. Lumi works fully offline. Reminders are scheduled on your device, so they fire whether or not you have an internet connection — on a plane, in a basement, anywhere. There's no server involved.

Lumi asks for notification permission the first time you add a medication. If you declined, you can turn it on in iOS Settings → Notifications → Lumi and make sure Allow Notifications is on. For the lock-screen actions to appear, keep Lock Screen enabled there too.

If you reinstall Lumi or set up a new iPhone, open the app, go to Settings → Lumi Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, your Pro features will come back.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Lumi, then choose Cancel Subscription. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You'll keep Pro features until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Because all of your medication data is stored only on your device, uninstalling Lumi deletes it completely — there's nothing on a server to remove. If you've opted in to anonymous analytics and want to stop, turn off Settings → Privacy → "Share anonymous usage data" first.

Lumi is available in 9 languages, and you can switch language inside the app independently of your phone's system language — handy if you prefer to read your reminders in a particular language.

Lumi requires iOS 18 or later. This lets Lumi use the lock-screen actions and widgets reliably.
